August Newsletter 2019 Part 2

Posted: August 24th, 2019 @ 12:33pm

Dear Military Vehicle Enthusiast: Saturday, August 24, 2019
This is going to be a busy week. Wednesday, the Hanover County Board of Supervisors will meet at 7 pm at the Hanover County Government Complex Main Auditorium and vote to approve the VFW’s 6000 sq. ft. building project. I would like to see as many members as possible show up for the meeting and it would be great to have a few vehicles on display in the parking lot late Wednesday afternoon. I am planning on taking my M-151 and mule.
The following Thursday morning, I will be leaving for the Graves Mountain Lodge annual Blue Ridge Mountains’ hill climb. We are expecting a large turnout. Fritz, Warren, Dabney, Rob, Blake, along with girlfriends, wives, and children are going. It is not too late to get a room in the lodge or camp out. This is going to be the largest attendance by the VAMVA ever. For more information, please reference the website below or call 540-923-4231.
September 13, we will be taking the M-20 to the Somerset Pasture party. We have received a warm and generous welcome from the promoters of this event and I am looking forward to working with them. This will not be just a static display so bring your best driving vehicle. Camping out on site is available. For more information, please see the website below.
